Ou est le Peeker? J'avais un update!

Yay! That means I grabbed the right one. I also picked up the translucent Alien which I wasn't going to do because I thought, man, that will look like crap, but it's actually the best of them all.

Me thinks I shall build an army...

Okay, here's the new additions....







The Pred is definitely the weakest in the set... he's started to get wobbly joints already and his posing options are now limited. Also, as with most Pred toys the head sculpt is absolute shit... I've glued the mask on permanently as it is that bad.

This new translucent Alien rocks the Cazbar! He's more brownish than black and he's been flecked with orangey-red paint (I guess they must have been reading the McF stories as to how the paint apps on the aliens are supposed to be). I love them. They get 4 alien thumbs up from me!

the skills apparent in the photos are impressive, but i can't like anything that has anything to do with AvP... it was piss on film.

The Aliens have (according to the box) over 15 points of articulation!!! Most are snap-in ball joints...

The neck. The shoulders. The elbows. The wrists. The chest cavity. The waist. The hips. The ankles. There are also 2 swivel joints on the end of the mid-leg bone? The tail is bendy wire.

I tell ya, if McF had done this on a large scale to their Aliens rather than the mid-thigh/bicep slice-joints I'd have peed my pants a thousand times over.

Here's some cleaner pics that you can see the articulation points...

I was wrong about the waist articulation... that's on the Pred. The Aliens have just the upper torso articulation.
